Minecraft EDU Mini Arcade Games using JavaScript

In this class, students will build their own arcade-style mini-games in the Minecraft universe while learning to code using JavaScript. They’ll explore game design and programming in Minecraft Edu, using JavaScript to bring their ideas to life. Game Code My Arcade combines the fun of gaming with hands-on coding practice, helping students grow as game designers and digital creators.

Class Objectives:

1. Learn JavaScript Coding Concepts: Use JavaScript to explore coding principles like variables, loops, functions, and conditionals in Minecraft Edu.
2. Game Design Fundamentals: Understand gameplay mechanics, level design, and player experience.
3. Minecraft Edu Skills: Build and customize mini-games using the tools and commands available in Minecraft Edu.
4. Debugging and Problem-Solving: Strengthen logic and troubleshooting skills by fixing bugs and improving gameplay.
5. Creative Expression: Design original arcade games using custom rules, levels, and features.
6. Teamwork: Work with peers on shared projects and group activities.
7. Game Presentation: Share a completed arcade mini-game and explain the design choices and JavaScript coding solutions used.
