Art Lab: Printmaking Studio (morning)

In this lab students will explore a very functional form of design: different forms of print-making. Starting with simpler found-object and block printing, students will then be introduced to linocuts, and other forms of print-making. We will learn about aspects of design such as composition, linework, pattern-making, and color to create prints on different materials, including paper and textiles. This lab focuses on art-making as a continuous process and collaborating during lab critiques.

Engineering Lab: Minecraft Redstone Circuitry (afternoon)

This lab provides a practical exploration of Redstone, focusing on its capabilities and versatility. Participants will start by grasping the basics, delving into concepts like logic gates, and gradually progress to advanced mechanisms. The camp equips students with the knowledge and skills to create intricate devices and elements within the Minecraft world. From automated doors to complex contraptions, students will harness Redstone's potential for dynamic and interactive creations. Elevate your Minecraft adventures as you master the art of Redstone Circuitry and bring your virtual world to life with innovative designs.
