3:00-4:30pm ROBOT BUILDERS
Subject: Coding/Robotics
Instructor: Steven Chau - Engineering for Kids
Calling all robot engineers! A course designed for all ages. Students will learn basic structural robot design and programming logic with LEGO Education WeDo. They'll use pulleys, levers, and sensors to create their own design, then program them with a visual drag-and-drop software. After getting a basic understanding, students will transition to using the more advanced LEGO MINDSTORM Education EV3. Students will work together to build and program their designs. They will test their robots and make adjustment and improvements. Students are encouraged to think critically about how and why their design and program need to adapt to changing conditions.

Subject: Art/Film/Animation
Instructor: James Berry
This course will introduce students to digital animation using simple programs that let them control all the action! They can make anything from stick figure animation to sprite animation! Students will learn timing, action-reaction physics and how to make an animation feel like it's moving on its own!
