Unit One: Recycled Science

In this unit, students will be learning basic interaction and interface design through hacking recycled materials, found objects and incorporating Micro:Bit and block coding into their projects to create innovative sustainable tech devices, while learning about the art of repurposing materials.

Unit Two: Atomic Lab

In this unit students will get to explore the fundamentals of chemistry and the properties of the World we live in using the Happy Atoms. Atomic Lab introduces students to the basics of chemistry while allowing them to explore atoms and molecules by building up to 150+ molecules that can be found all around us. Students will interact with the happy atoms set, have fun and become lab assistants on The Nucleus!

*If we are advised to shutdown in-person due to COVID, there is no refund for the class. It will immediately shift to online. We will reopen as soon as local and state officials deem it safe. If online is not an option for you, we can only offer credit for future classes.
