Robotics Lab: Coding + Challenges with Spike (Lego) (morning)
Continue to ignite your child’s passion for STEAM learning through LEGO problem-solving and storytelling. Our Expedition Challenge class combines building elements, easy-to-use hardware, and guided drag and drop based coding for a pleasant user-friendly experience. This course encourages students to critically think about the challenges that come with going on adventures and guides them through problem solving through play. Our LEGO Robotics Lab continuously engages students through playful learning activities to help them develop critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills, regardless of their coding level.
Comic Book Lab: From Paper to Cyberspace (afternoon)
Students will embark on a storytelling journey through multiple comic book creation media. In this class students will explore analogue drawings and a variety of digital drawing programs to help the students discover their preferred art form. The class will build a basic understanding of the fundamental elements that make up a comic book, learn about character development, and short form storytelling. Our class highlights collaboration, communication, and workshopping.
