In-Person Spring 2022
Co-op Game Lab: Unplugged & Digital Gaming
This course introduces students to cooperative gaming as they learn to problem solve and work together as a team. The next step in our gaming series, this class mixes both unplugged (tabletop) gaming and the online gaming experience to further develop our students’ critical thinking, social, deduction and reflex skills.
Every two weeks we offer students a selection of tabletop games to play for their upcoming classes, allowing them to truly explore their interests and expertise with a grown-up guide. Using Steam as an online platform we will be exploring cooperative games such as the brand new Core Keeper & fan favorite Terraria. Cooperative tabletop choices are as follows: The Crew: Quest for Planet Nine, Cuphead Roll & Run, Forbidden Desert, Simpson's Codenames, The Mind, 5-Minute Dragon, Castle Panic & many more. We are always open to student suggestions and ideas.
