Prehistoric Planet – Dinosaur Fossil: Ages 6-8
(Morning)
Do you know the different types of raptor dinosaurs? What dinosaur fossils has been most influential to paleontologists? We will discover the different findings of dinosaur fossils. Students will build their fossil models.

Lego Robotics: Car Creation: Ages 6-8
(Afternoon)
Using LEGO® Education WeDo™ 1.0 sets, students are tasked to build a one-motor moving vehicle. The vehicle need to be able to move forward and backward. Students are challenged to come up with their own design as no instructions will be provided. Through this workshop we will discuss parts of a car such as axles, gears, wheels and chassis.
 
Robotics Design Challenge: Make it move without Wheels: Ages 9-12  
(Morning)
Many students who has taken a Robotics class might be familiar with creating robots to move using wheels. Can you build a robot that crawl or walk? Using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 sets, students will work together to build a forward moving robot using some mechanism other than wheels. Students will get to be familiar with the importance of balance and center of mass in a structure.
