Day Camp - October 3: ROBOTS & ROCKETS
ENGINEERING: 3-2-1 BLAST OFF
(Morning Apprentice, Afternoon Junior)
Learn about the flight path of a projectile. Discover the physics of a flying rocket. Explore the world of rocketry has we model different simulation of a flying object. Students will build their own rocket model and test the flight patterns. Students will work on improving their designs to make it fly further and faster.
ROBOTIC MAZE RUN
Students will learn to build an automatous LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 robot to infiltrate hard to reach corridors. They will learn to program a robot that will conquer rough terrain and will utilize sensors to navigate through any obstacle course. No maze will be challenge for our robots!
JUNIOR ROBOTICS: ZOO ANIMALS
Students will learn to build different animals using LEGO® Education WeDo™ 1.0 sets. They will learn basic principles of programming and operating their animals using a laptop computer.
Junior (ages 5-7), Apprentice (ages 8-12)
DAY CAMP BREAKDOWN:
8:45am – 9am DROP OFF
9am – 12pm MORNING SESSION
12pm – 1pm LUNCH & RECESS
1pm – 4pm AFTERNOON SESSION
LATE PICKUP (EXTRA $30):
4pm – 6pm BOARD GAMES
