Winter 2021 Session 1 Remote Class
D&D: Rat's Nest
Remote D&D Campaign
Miles underneath the metropolis of Lemahart there lies a massive network of tunnels, stretching all around the city and beyond. Run by the feared-yet-seldom-seen Rat Queen, this subterranean kingdom is populated by hundred of thousands, if not millions of ratfolk. The Rat Queen's ingenuity has kept the kingdom a secret from the surface dwellers for ages, and she is keen on maintaining this veil. However, recently her scouts have reported an ominous site: droves of humans, elves, and dwarves have begun colonizing the outer tunnels of her land. The queen has made an offer: any of her subjects that can deal with this problem, no matter the means used, so long as the problem is dealt with permanently, will receive fame, fortune, and power beyond their wildest dreams.
Rat's Nest is a homebrewed adventure for Wizards of the Coast's Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition that takes place in a setting many may find unusual: a dark, underground world where the monstrous is quite normal and everyday. Anyone looking to play the role of a less-traditional hero need look no further: the Rat Queen seeks all who are willing to serve, from brave knights, to backstabbing scoundrels.
