Aug. 28-Sept. 1 Tinkerers (Ages 6-8) Summer Camp 2017
Real World Crafting w/Minecraft (9am-12pm)
This Minecraft lab has both an in-game and out-of-game element that will help open and build communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking. Students will not only explore the world of Minecraft and do challenges but will also do projects in the real world based on Minecraft such as target practice in game & crafting mini bow and arrow in the real world.
Outdoor Coding/Gamer (1pm-4pm)
The Mover kit is part magic, part science, all creativity designed by the wonderful Technology Will Save Us company. Using this flexible and adaptive framework, students will get out the classroom into the world, through fun and easy maker projects, group games, and design challenges. From poke balls and light sabers, to makeshift bike lights and wizard staves, kids will design, code and test projects in a series of easy to understand class projects. Each student will go home with their Mover at the end of the camp.
