Storytelling through Comics

Description:

In this class, students will learn to craft fiction and nonfiction stories in the form of comics, zines, and other miniature books. Using drawing and “brain map” exercises developed by comic book artist Lynda Barry, we will unlock our full potential to tell great stories with pictures and words! Students will work with home materials (paper, pens, pencils, markers) to craft their comics and stories, collaborating and sharing our ideas and creations.
