1pm – 4pm afternoon session/snack break around 2:30
4pm pickup
4pm – 6pm late stay: board games/minecraft challenges/snacks

things to know
Camps are drop offs with school-age groups ranging from 6-11
Ages 6-8 are called Tinkerers & ages 8-11 are called Hackers
Camps will be held at Williamsburg Northside Lower School
Don’t forget to dress comfortably
Optional: pack swimsuit/towel for playground water time at lunchtime
Pack a lunch & snacks 
Bring a refillable water bottle
If any devices are brought to camp, Geek Forest is not responsible for any damages: these devices should only be used at break time

Geek Forest is a bully free zone! We know that sometimes there are some misunderstandings. Please encourage your child to tell a camp counselor of any issues. We can get down to the bottom of it before it escalates.

camp FAQ

When is morning drop-off? 
Our doors open at 8:45am. Class officially starts at 9:00 am.
When is pick-up? 
Pickup is at 4pm.
Will you be offering an extended day option? 
Yes, until 6pm. You can choose to do 1 or more days. We will invoice you at the end of the week.
What should my child bring?
A packed lunch (that does not contain any nuts or peanuts)
At least one snack (that does not contain any nuts or peanuts)
A water bottle.
Sunscreen & optional swimsuit and towel (we will go outside most days)
Will food/lunch/snacks be provided?
No, we do not provide food. Please send your child with a packed lunch and snacks that do not contain any nuts or peanuts of any kind.
Some programs that my children attend require medical forms from our doctor. Does your program require this form? 
No, we do not need that form.
My child has a scooter. Can they store it at Geek Forest while they are in the session? 
Sure!
Will there be outside time each day? 
We always try to spend some time outside every day. Please send your child with appropriate clothing (raincoats, sunblock, etc). We head to Jaime Campiz Playground (Marcy & Metropolitan)
What ages do you accept into the sessions?
We have 2 age groups: Tinkerers: ages 6-8 and Hackers 8-11. Their classes will go on simultaneously in separate classrooms
What does a typical day look like?
8:45am – 9am: drop off

What is the child to teacher ratio? 
The ratio is about 8 children to one teacher and one camp assistant.

Please no POKEMON trading cards
